Beitai Company
During the course of eleventh five-year plan, Beitai Company will

In accordance with the developing status of the enterprise, Demands
for the technology by Beitai Company focus on steel making and automation
control, coal chemical products further processing, development
on the high anticorrosive carbon cast iron, heavy automobiles being
used in mine exploring and cycling economy relating to the industry
and so on. And the brief description of the technical cooperation
project, refer to the appendix.
3. Pattern of Cooperation
As for the technology cooperation, it shall adopts the method of
entering technology cooperation contracts, and the cooperation parties
shall negotiate with the legal representatives form Beitai Company
and reach the substantive agreement on the project, and then enter
into formal technology contract.
(1). Technology services
The cooperation parties shall enter into contract with Beitai Company
as for certain technology and skills or project, and provide the
supports on technology for Beitai Company, and the latter shall
pay the service fees in accordance with the contract.
After the contract being signed, certain amount of prepayment shall
be paid, and the rest of the fees shall be paid upon the completion
of the service or the project and being accepted by Beitai Company.
(2). Joint development
Beitai Company shall provides part of the funds and equipments,
and set up a technology development group along with the cooperation
parties, and jointly develop specific project, new skills, and new
products.
The two parties shall share the research fruits in accordance with
the contract, and bear the risks separately.
(3). Transfer or permit over the technology patent (or the property
technology)
Famous research institutions from home and abroad, and universities
and colleges, may cooperate with Beitai Company with the transfer
or permit over their technology patents (or the property technology),
also they may hold the share of the Beitai Company with the evaluation
on their technology patents (or the property technology) and exchange
them by shares.
(4). Strategic cooperation
Beitai Company shall establish the strategic cooperation partnership
with famous research institutions from home and abroad, and universities
and colleges, and those companies with technological competition
edge, and setup the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship or enterprises
joint-stations, and carry out technology cooperation in a long run.
4. The favorable policy
As for the development on the applicable technology, transfer of
the technology and technology service project, Beitai Company shall
pay the related fees to the cooperation parties, and after the project
being put into ordinary operation, it shall offer the cooperative
parties 10% out of the profits from the project, which utilizing
the technology, of two sequential years.

1. Study on manufacturing technology of the superior quality steel
for boat building
Description of the project: On the basis of the technology and equipments
owning by the Second Unit of Beitai Steel Company, it mainly engages
in the study on the technology of the inclusion control during the
manufacturing of the superior quality steel for boat building, and
study on the internal quality control technology during the course
of continuous casting, and study on the secondary water cooling
control technology system, and study on the surface quality control
and the shape control of the blank plate and the quality detection
technology on the line, and study on the optimization of the smelting
technology for the steel for boat building, and complete the process
control plan for the technology of manufacturing the level D, E
steel for the boat building and its industrialized manufacturing.
2. Develop and study on variety of the high performance and low
alloy high weather ability steel
Description of the project: It mainly engages in the developing
and study on variety of the high performance and low alloy weather
ability steel with energy saving manner and its manufacturing technology,
and reveal the principle and mechanism of the joint function of
the alloy elements in the weather ability steel, and study on the
mutual function between the alloy elements and designing of the
multi-component alloys of the weather ability steel, and study on
the optimization of the smelting technology for the high weather
ability steel, and study on the heating and rolling technology for
the high weather ability steel, and develop the technology of manufacturing
economic high performance, ultra-fine-grained and high weather ability
steel and its industrialized manufacturing.
At the same time, develop and study on the following varieties:
high strength structure steel coil for the boat body, 20CrMnMo alloy
structure steel sticks, and 20CrMoA hot rolling round steel for
sucker rod, hot rolling broad steel stripe, hard-line steel (steel
strip) for petroleum and natural gas pipelines, and structure steel
for bridge building, ML20MnTiB cold heading steels, GCr15 high-carbon
chromium bearing steel, anchor chain round steel for boats and steel
plate for welding cylinders.
3. Study on automation technology of the melting system
Description of the project: We shall update and develop the automation
technology of the melting system, and display the scenes and the
data of steel manufacturing on the automatic control system together,
so as to be convenient for the coordination and control over the
manufacturing, and realize the melting automation. And it includes
the data collecting from the status of the main equipments, manufacturing
control over the converters, control over the continuous casting,
steel making expert reserve, product quality control analysis and
so on.
4. Study on the rolling technology of the third-grade screw-thread
steel with niobium
Description of the project: It mainly engages in studying on the
rolling technology of the third-grade screw-thread steel with niobium,
and reveals the rule and mechanism of the mutual action between
niobium and the third-grade screw-thread steel, and study on alloy
designing and the mutual action between the alloy elements, and
study on the optimization of the smelting technology for the third-grade
screw-thread steel with niobium, and study on the heating, cold
and rolling technology of the third-grade screw-thread steel with
niobium, and yield strength in tension analysis, and complete the
process control plan for the technology of manufacturing the third-grade
screw-thread steel with niobium and its industrialized manufacturing.
5. Study on the skills and technology of pre-stressed steel wires
Description of the project: Steel making units of Beiying Company
currently has the capacity of manufacturing the 72A and 72MnA square
steel billet, and it plans to manufacture rolling pre-stressed steel
wires by using a wire steel making line. Meanwhile it seeks for
the partners on technology cooperation and jointly launches the
technical study.
6. Study on the technology on the re-crystallization and annealing
cold rolling product and the principle of cold rolling.
Description of the project: Consider comprehensively the impact
of the heating temperature and the cold deformation on the size
of the metal grains, and establish the re-crystallization mode of
the three factors for various type of steel. And we study on the
relations between the re-crystallization temperature and internal
structure cold rolling steel, and study the impacts on re-crystallization
grains by the cold deformation, annealing temperature, temperature
keeping time of the cold rolling products, and develop the technical
principles of re-crystallization and annealing of various cold rolling
products in accordance with the types of the cold rolling products
and the thickness of the stripe steel and the internal structure
of the cold rolling stripe steel.
7. Study on the optimization on the coal blending
Description of the project: Mainly study on the experiments of the
blending of the gas coal and anthracites, and verify alkali-resistant
capacity under high temperature of the various coals among the blending
coals, and develop specification for the proportion of various coals
to ensure the coal quality, and develop scientific and reasonable
blending coals skills, so as to lower the cost.
8. The best method for approaching the energy media
Conduct the comprehensive balancing work in accordance with the
manufacturing skills and structures of the steel making enterprises,
and find out the best method for approaching the energy media such
as the coal, carbon, coal gas, electricity, water and oxygen and
so on during the manufacturing course through the advanced energy-saving
technology and skills, so as to further lower the energy consumption
by the steel making.
9. Thermo electricity units adopt the gas-steam jointly circulating
electricity generating technology.
Description of the project: At present, the huge amount of the surplus
coal gas after the steel manufacturing, are mainly recycled through
the mean of coal gas boiler and steam turbine heat and electricity
jointly supply, and the heat value of utilizing the coal gas is
about 18%.
In order to further improve the heat value, it shall adopt the gas-steam
jointly circulating electricity generating technology to improve
the heat value of 40%.
10. Application and development of the dry dust eliminating converter
technology
Description of the project: Resolve the coal gas explosion problems,
and study on the two aspects of both theoretical analysis and simulation
experiments, and establish the best structure mode for the smoke
channel of the converter from the both aspects of the heat recycling
and explosion prevention, and find out the rule and the strength
of the explosion in the smoke channel of the converter, and the
methods for avoiding or easing the explosion in the smoke channel
of the converter, and establish the lab for the experiment of explosion
in the smoke channel of the converter and conduct the practical
simulation experiment, and verify the theoretical mode being provided
and correctness of the calculation methods, and complete the shift
from the technology to the practice of the dry dust eliminating
converter technology, and confirm the implementation plan.
11. Research on comprehensive usage of the waste steel products
Description of the project: Beiying Company generates waste steel
products of 3 million tons from the blast furnace, and 0.6 million
tons from the converters, and currently seeks for technology cooperation
on new type material manufacturing by utilizing the waste steel
products.
12. Electricity-saving technology in the metal making industry.
Description of the project: Develop the best electricity support
system in accordance with the units load capacity and the load summit
during the manufacturing, and adopt the advanced technology and
skills to save electricity with the main electricity consuming equipments
such as the three phases motor, air pump water pump and high voltage
equipment, so as to lower the electricity consumption in the metal
making course.
13. Water-saving technology in the metal making industry
Description of the project: Develop the best water support system
in accordance with the circumstance of water usage and water draining
during the manufacturing, and adopt the advanced water deposal technology
and skills, and improve the water disposal equipment and its skills,
so as to lower the water consumption in the metal making course,
and reach the maximum of water resource saving.
14. Utilize the surplus voltage of blast furnace proof to generate
electricity (TRT technology).
Utilize the surplus voltage of blast furnace proof and through the
inflation turbine acting, which shall drive the power generator
to generate electricity, so as to recycle the energy. And it neither
consumes any fuel, nor generates pollution to the environment, and
it shall benefit to both the noise reducing and improvement of the
economic effects.
15. Develop the high anticorrosive cast metal pipe with both inter
and outside surface.
Description of the project: It mainly engages in the developing
polyurethane for outside surface coating, epoxy resin for inner
surface coating or polyurethane for outside surface coating, enamel
paint for inner surface coating or epoxy resin for outside surface
coating and enamel paint for inner surface coating and anticorrosive
cast metal pipes etc, and study and develop the anticorrosive materials,
equipments, and make the skill procedure flow for anticorrosive
cast metal pipes manufacturing, and verify the technical parameters
so as to meet the standard of new-type anticorrosive materials,
and complete its process control plan and its industrialized manufacturing.
16. Develop the 130 tons load electrical transmission automobile
being used in mine exploring.
Description of the project: In order to expend the variety of the
automobile being used in mine exploring of Beizhong Company, and
improve the coverage of the load of the automobiles, and further
explore the market, it shall utilizes the existed technology of
108 tons load electrical transmission automobile being used in mine
exploring, and equip it with advanced electronic control and drive
system, develop the 130 tons load electrical transmission automobile
being used in mine exploring.
